AXA Investment Managers Hong Kong Limited was established in June 1998 through the acquisition of the active investment management business of Barclays Global Investors Hong Kong. In June 1999 it merged with National Mutual Funds Management (Asia) Limited to form one of the largest investment management companies in Hong Kong. AXA IM HK has been managing Hong Kong pension funds since 1987 and as the fund manager of AXA China Region (the second largest life insurance company in Hong Kong), we are managing the assets of millions of Hong Kong citizens.
As a result we are keen to ensure that the interests of ordinary Hong Kong citizens are protected and the economy is run on an efficient manner. The effort of HAMS will contribute significantly to the improvement of corporate governance in Hong Kong and all Hong Kong citizens will benefit from this in the long run.
